Anonymous asked: Muslims: if you want to be respected like other religions are, then don't ask for special treatment. Just as it is insensitive for us kaffirs to pressure you to drink alcohol or eat pork; it is insensitive for you to insist that we follow your religious taboos. I have beliefs too. I believe in secularism. I believe in reason. I believe in equality. I believe in free speech and expression. And for you to demand that we have to give these values up reflects poorly on you and is insulting to us.

Anonymous asked: I love that you keep the focus on your right to put pencil to paper, and not on why Islam is evil etc etc (been there, heard that). If you were to draw something that I consider offensive about someone I respect (say, my mother) you acknowledge my right to be pissed. But the only reaction you would get from me would be an offensive drawing of your mother, not a threat to your life. Keep up the good work!

Thank you!

Anonymous asked: What you get by doing all this ? Is it fun to hurt muslims feelings ? You should respect every religion you should respect Mohammad (PBUH)

Again, if you are offended at the content of this blog, you are perfectly free to: close (or pluck out) your eyes/leave/smash your computer/visit a different website/post offensive pictures of my mother/ etc, etc.

oreosplash asked: Insulting isn't freedom. Ridiculing the beliefs of many isn't freedom. Spreading hatred isn't freedom. Why not find some other, respectful manner to present your opinions? You shouldn't be using the excuse of 'freedom of speech' to insult. I could go on explaining why this is wrong but honestly your beliefs are your own and as a Muslim I'm only sticking up for what I believe rather than fuelling this hatred you have initiated. Just acknowledge this before you continue with this immaturity.

In America, as well as many other parts of the civilized world, these things ARE covered under basic freedoms. Your first three sentences could describe any number of religions, not just Islam (e.g. The Westboro Baptist Church).

oreosplash asked: To make fun of someone's religion is not freedom of speech or any other bs you come up with. It is immaturity and arrogance. Islam has descriptions of how the prophet was, so if you're going to talk about 'history' then use the facts you have rather than the art you make and linking him to terrorism. Everyone can be free to express their opinions considering they respect the other's belief. There is a fine line between hate speech and freedom of speech, acknowledge this if you are so educated.

I don’t know why you’re putting words in our mouths. We don’t care about history or politics. We simply provide a place where people can post artwork on a topic that nobody else lets them post.

oreosplash asked: As Muslims, we don't draw the prophet as a sign of respect because one cannot depict him in the utmost manner we see him. Everyone has their beliefs, but the fact that there are people like you who make such an effort to make disgusting/vile depictions of the prophet is childish. Each one made is seen to insult the religion. If your aim is to protest against restriction then why not present the prophet in the respectful manner? Why create more outrage when you are aware of its effect?

Artwork Help Wanted DMD 2014

Can anyone out there help me with some art for DMD 2014… i would like a teddy bear on the front and the back of a teddy bear with a half open zipper on the back with the arabian guy with the sword coming out of the back of the teddy bear. I can’t draw so asking for some help with fully scaleable artwork so I can have a poster board printed for DMD 2014. Thanks, Jon

Muhammad - the author of the quran is a child. Really, quite obvious when you read it. He’s just this angry little child who needed a bit more love. Obviously has a thing against women and likes to control everything, so also a Virgo. Possibly born in the year of a Monkey too. And, probably a really good cook with a bit of a gift with vegetables and dried beans.

Anonymous asked: Do you have a video library of anti-islamic stuff? U-tube gets censored all the time and it would be nice to have a place where you could stay one step ahead of the enemy.

Unfortunately, most of the videos are usually links to Youtube, so once those get censored, our videos get censored too. One great thing about the Youtube community, though, is that they will mirror each other’s videos when it is something important, leading to a kind of Streisand effect.

Anonymous asked: Thanks for posting my question. I don't think you are correct that other Muslims would condone violence. Any Muslim that would, is thoroughly uneducated in Islam. Infact, murder (in any case accept defence) is one of our 7 worst sins. Each year, thousands are killed by Buddhists who see "muslim clothing" and Hindus who see "nonhindu names", why don't you acknowledge this. You must understand the it is not some "stupid thing" for us. Our religion is our law. Why continue to encite anger? Peace.

Your interpretation of your religion may lead you to not want to kill people, but others definitely interpret Islam differently. As for other religions, I personally think they’re all stupid - but this blog is focused on Muhammad in particular, so by definition there won’t be a lot of talk about Buddhists or Hindus.

Anonymous asked: Do you think that Muhammad might be a woman? I mean it makes sense considering how pissed Muslims get when they show the prophets' face.

Lolol I get it!

Anonymous asked: Youre free to do and believe as you want. But Islam restricts depiction of religious figures, and asks Muslims to defend the Prophets and the faith. The Quran doesnt condone violence, it condones jihad or internal/external struggle. My jihad, internally will be to extinguish any resentment I have. Externally, I have to inform you about why it is disrespectful to mock/knowingly insult anyone, even athiests. If you draw the Prophet just to get a response, than why make the first d*ck move? Peace.

You say that Islam doesn’t condone violence, but there are many Muslims who would disagree with you. People get killed over depictions of Muhammad. I’ve never heard of anyone getting killed over a picture of Jesus or a picture of an atheist. THAT is why we do this. It may be a dick move but your religion needs to understand that no amount of offense warrants murder. We have every right to draw silly pictures of a figure from history, and you have every right to get angry and complain. But until Muslims stop killing over stupid things like this, we will not stop offending you.
